U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance made a pretty shocking statement about UFOs in an interview with Benny Johnson, saying that he doesn’t believe they come from another planet. From a Catholic point of view, Vance said that unidentified things could be “demons” and that believing in aliens is a “trick of the devil”. The politician confirmed that the Trump administration is working on declassifying government materials regarding UFOs. Vance is currently focused on the economy and national security, but he plans to “get to the bottom of it” during his term and even visit the legendary “Area 51” in Nevada.
James David Vance, Donald Trump’s right-hand man, isn’t convinced that UFOs actually have an extraterrestrial, cosmic origin. The VP told this to political commentator and podcaster Benny Johnson on YouTube.
He doesn’t believe in classic alien “flying saucer” sightings.
“I think they’re demons after all,” Vance said, adding that he sees things that can’t be explained by human nature through his own worldview as a representative of the Catholic Church.
He reckons that people try to label all celestial phenomena as alien intervention, but in reality, the devil’s greatest trick is convincing humanity of the non-existent.
J.D. Vance said, “All the major world religions, including Christianity, which I believe in, get that strange things exist and that there are things that are very difficult to explain.”
The politician also confirmed that the White House administration is working on declassifying government documents related to UFOs. But he’s so busy that he can’t really get into it.
“When I first arrived, I was obsessed with the UFO files,” J.D. Vance admitted, adding that all his curiosity was “swallowed up” by concerns about the economy, national security, and so on. But the Republican has said that during his three-year term as vice president, he’ll still have time to get to the bottom of the UFO cases and may even visit the famous “Area 51” in Nevada, which he’s planning to visit loads of times.
