Stellantis has got fans excited with the first photo of the new 2026 Opel Corsa GSE. It’ll be the most powerful and fastest production model in the history of the German brand, made to compete directly with the electric Mini Cooper.
The new Opel Corsa GSE is coming out in a few months and will be on sale in 2026. The first official photo of the charged hatchback was published on the Stellantis website.
The photo shows only the original 18-inch wheel rim and part of the body with the body kit, but the details of the new model are already known. The Opel Corsa GSE hatchback is going to be electric.
The Opel Corsa GSE electric car will have the same setup as its sister models, the Mokka GSE crossover and the Peugeot e-208 GTi. It’ll have a 280 hp and 345 Nm electric motor on the front axle. The 54 kWh battery won’t change.

The specs for the Opel Corsa GSE haven’t been announced yet, but we know that the Peugeot e-208 GTi, which is about the same size, can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and travel 350 km without needing a recharge. The hatchback will be the fastest Opel they’ve ever produced.
The new Opel Corsa GSE will also have a self-locking differential, sports suspension, and larger brakes. The new hatchback will have a bolder design and sports seats in the cabin.
