The sights of Juventus are set on Liverpool’s star player, with the potential for a reunion with the player’s former coach

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker may change clubs in the near future. Turin’s Juventus sees the Brazilian as the ideal replacement for Wojciech Szczesny, whose performance has not met the expectations of the club’s management.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Alisson Becker may leave Liverpool and move to Serie A, as Juventus Turin is interested in the Brazilian goalkeeper.

The Bianconeri are considering replacing De Gregorio as their main goalkeeper because they are not satisfied with his performance. Therefore, Turin has decided to invite Alisson. Juventus had previously tried to sign Mike Maignan from Milan and Guillermo Vicario from Tottenham, who are also on the Bianconeri’s shortlist.

It should be noted that Alisson’s current contract with Liverpool runs until the summer of 2027. The Reds are likely to let the Brazilian goalkeeper go because they already have Giorgi Mamardashvili as his replacement.

Alisson previously played in Italy’s Serie A for Roma. At that time, Roma was led by current Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti. This season, Becker has played in 29 matches for Liverpool in all competitions. During this time, he has conceded 30 goals and kept a clean sheet in 12 matches.
