Chrysler is preparing a significant update to its best-selling minivan, the Pacifica. The 2027 model will receive significant visual changes and a new powertrain, and it will remain the world’s most popular family car. The official presentation is scheduled for spring or summer of 2026.
The first photos of the 2027 Chrysler Pacifica have been published. The family minivan will undergo significant changes and receive a new engine. The new Pacifica will be unveiled in the spring or summer, with sales set to begin in the second half of this year. Official photos of the minivan were published on Chrysler’s Facebook page.
This is the second update of the model, and the photos show that the design of the Chrysler Pacifica will change significantly this time. The front of the minivan has a more futuristic look: It features L-shaped LED headlights, a narrow radiator grille, and a new bumper with a wide air intake. Additionally, the car features an updated Chrysler logo.
The interior of the 2027 Chrysler Pacifica has not yet been revealed. It is expected to feature a digital dashboard and a larger central touchscreen. As before, the model will be available in seven- and eight-seat versions.
While the new Pacifica will retain its 3.6-liter V6 gasoline engine with 287 hp, the plug-in hybrid will no longer be offered. Instead, it will feature a 2.0-liter Hurricane turbocharged engine. The minivan comes with a nine-speed automatic transmission and is available with front- or all-wheel drive.
Notably, the Chrysler Pacifica is currently the world’s most popular family minivan. More than 140,000 were sold in 2025.
